I need to make a journal entry in QuickBooks to zero out excess distributions for 2020. In 2019, the entry was not done and carried over to 2020. More was calculated as taken out than was supposed to be done for 2020. I cannot just close to retained earnings. Please help and let me know if I need to provide more information.
