I am the executor of my grandmother's estate in Georgia. I transferred the title of her home into my name after her death and sold it for $97,000, distributing the proceeds to the heirs. Since the house was in my name, I received a 1099. How do I communicate to the IRS that this is not taxable income for me?

A client was a Sole Proprietor who formed an LLC and elected to be taxed as an S-corp on 8/1/17. He purchased a $39k vehicle in his sole proprietorship in 2015 and deducted Sec 179 and A/D through 2016 of $26k. What are his options for using the vehicle in the S-corp?

I have had attempts to take money out of my Bank Account that is used to deposit my Social Security Check. I have opened a new account, but the information on the Web Page stated that it would take 6 weeks to establish a new "Deposit Account" for my Check. This would make all of my bills late, including my Rent. Is there a way to expedite the process, and should I provide the information for the new Bank Account via the Social Security Website?

I need to file my 2016 tax return but I have lost all my W2s and 1099s due to Hurricane Harvey. I filed an extension for 2016 and received a letter stating I had to file by today to continue my insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act. I was employed through August 2016 and had a side job as a musician, receiving 1099s from places I performed. I can't remember where all I performed and have lost all self-employed income and deduction receipts. I was hoping to have the IRS file my return and send me the bill since I can't file a full return with my deductions.

Hi, my job requires me to drive about 100 miles a day. I am reimbursed $60 a week for gas, but can I deduct for wear & tear on my vehicle if I don't itemize deductions?
