I did not take my Required Minimum Distribution for 2017 and 2018 from my IRA because I had a broken neck and was in the hospital during this time. I know the amounts for these two years and would like to know how I can get these done. Do I need medical records to provide a waiver, and how do I file the documents needed to report and receive the required minimum distributions?

I have a 1099-R from Prudential with a gross distribution and state tax withheld, but no state distribution in box 16. Credit Karma tax return software is not accepting this. What should I enter for state distribution?

I owe $130 back in taxes but couldn't file for 2018-2019 because the company I was going to file with got closed down due to fraudulent activity. If I file my 2018-2019 W-2 with my 2019-2020, would I owe more to the government?

I’m considering either putting 401k funds on hold or into a money market fund. No money is being paid into the 401k right now. So the dip is not actively being bought. I recognize inflation will be killing the $ long term if I keep it in one of those listed options long term. However, if I put the investments “on the side” for a few months… what’s the better option? On hold for a few months or putting into a money market fund (which will not have tax implications).
