My IRS refund was reduced from $9600 to $5600. I used TurboTax Premium and purchased audit insurance. The refund has been deposited, but the written notice promised for June 8 has not been received. My wife passed away on September 30, and the long-term care deduction was $32,000. The multiple explanations for the reduction on the 'Where's My Refund' email do not make sense to me. I am 94 years old and have difficulty typing. What should I do next, and when can I talk to a person?
