I haven't received my 2021 tax refund yet. I was told I need a 15-digit trace number. My account online says the refund was sent via direct deposit, but I never received it. I owed some money, and the IRS took their portion, but I never received the balance of $2000.00. Can you help me, or provide a phone number to a representative?

I received a 3531 form for the 2019 tax return which I filed jointly with my husband. My husband passed away in August 2020, and I was asked to sign the 1040 form for both of us. How should I proceed with procuring his signature under these circumstances? Additionally, I received a CP21B notice on May 16, 2022, for a solar tax refund of $12,654 for 2018. What is the status of this refund, and what should I do about it?

I received a letter from the IRS asking to verify my identity on a tax form. I haven't filed taxes since 2000, but they claim someone filed a tax form 1040sr with my name and social security number in 2021. The letter instructed me to notify them if I did not file this form, which I didn't. What should I do about this notice?

I live in California and my business received a PPP loan that was disbursed on 5/1/2021. Can I exclude the income from my state taxes and deduct the expenses paid with that PPP loan? The PPP loan has been forgiven.
