I missed my appointment to file my tax return in May. My appointment was with AARP. What should I do now? I am 73 years old, single, and had a gross income of approximately $50,317 in 2021. I will be having surgery and unable to travel. Can this be done by phone or online?

I am behind on my taxes and can't do them due to not having the right information. I have all my W2s since 2015, but I'm missing information from 2014. I lived in two different states, Arizona and Colorado. How much does it cost to get it current, and can a CPA do it where they take it out of what I get back?

If I receive money from an internet company like Appen or Whorl and deposit it into my bank account in Canada, how do I report this income on my tax return? Is the name of the company provided by my bank sufficient, or do I need additional documentation?

I’m finalizing my 2021 federal tax return. I have only Social Security income and no W2. When using the Earned Income Credit (EIC) look-back, can I use line 1 on my 2019 1040 even though those wages were earned by my wife who passed away in November 2020? I’m filing as head of household with my youngest son as a college dependent.

I have received a large cash bonus and a significant capital gain this year, which will significantly increase my income and taxes for 2022. My withholding for 2022 is estimated to be $464k, which is more than double my total taxes of $203k in 2021. Given the general rule that estimated tax payments are due if withholding is less than 90% of the current year's tax or 100% (or 110% for AGI >$150k) of the previous year's tax, do I need to make an estimated tax payment by September 15, or can I rely on my withholding to cover my increased tax liability for 2022?
