I mistakenly paid my 2021 tax bill of $2665 through my credit card, forgetting that I had an electronic fund transfer in place, leading to insufficient funds in my account. I received a letter from the IRS about the rejection. How can I ensure the IRS received my credit card payment, and should I be concerned about the notice?

I filed my 2021 taxes and was expecting a refund of $1,679.00. My tax service informed me that I need a 6-digit code from a letter sent by the IRS, which I never received. My mail often gets mixed up with my neighbors'. How do I get a new letter sent out?

I’m getting a tax refund for the last year filed in April. Will the refund be seized by social security, and is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect you? I have cancer.

I gave all my files to a local accountant last month to file my 2021 taxes and never heard from the accountant. She does not return my text messages or phone calls, and the office is closed. What do I do now?

I am a resident of TX but due to being a military spouse, I currently live in NC with my spouse. We don't share the same domicile state; mine is TX while hers is FL. Next month, I will be moving to work in VA, and my employer gave me the Form VA-4. My question is whether I can check the box under the Military Spouses Residency Relief Act to certify that I'm not subject to VA withholding, or if I should not claim exemptions and file taxes as an out-of-state resident at the end of the year. Additionally, should I use my TX address, which I claim as my domicile, or the NC address where I'm currently staying until next month?
