I recently moved from Alaska to Missouri and am filing a state tax return. I live in Missouri but work in Kansas City. I have W-2 forms from both states with different amounts in certain boxes. I'm using TurboTax and am confused about how to select the right options. Do I need to file tax returns for both Kansas and Missouri, and how do I avoid being double taxed on the same income?

In 2019, I submitted my IRS payment with the wrong social security number. The IRS has confirmed they are aware of the problem and are reviewing it for correction. However, my 2020 and 2021 refunds were applied to my outstanding balance, and I find it difficult to talk to someone who can resolve this issue. Before I submit my 2022 taxes, I would like to have this corrected. Can you help?
