I turned 65 on July 18, 2017. I am still working, covered by good health benefits, and do not plan to retire soon. Do I have to apply for Social Security now, even though I do not want to begin receiving benefits? What is the deadline for applying? Do I have to apply for Medicare even though I am fully covered by my employer's health benefits?

My parents had a new roof installed on their home. The company left the attic open and exposed for 2 days during rain, causing mold to form. They are not admitting responsibility and won't fix the problem. Their home owner's insurance won't cover mold removal either. They are elderly and on a fixed income, so money is tight. Can the cost of mold removal be deducted on their 2008 income taxes?

If I make expenses with a titular credit card that is destined only to pay for things for the non-profit, can I declare those items when doing the annual taxes for my company?

My tenant has been paying me rent for years, but I did not pay taxes on it. Now, Social Security will be paying a portion of his rent directly, and they know who I am because I have to fill out a form proving he lives there. Is there a chance I would have to pay back taxes because Social Security is paying my rent?

Due to several vet visits for my ailing pet, I needed to take money out of my HSA account this past year. Luckily, I get a health bonus each January from my employer, so I can easily put all those funds back into the account before I do my taxes. Will this be "in time" or am I too late and will be penalized?
