If I add my rental property repairs and remodel expenses to my taxes, will I get a bigger return when I file? I am located in Del Rio, TX, have no dependents, and my total income is about $170,000 yearly. This is the first year with the rental, and it's all profit as the house is paid off.

I am a green card holder and my husband is on an F1 student visa. We filed our 2019 taxes jointly and both received COVID-19 stimulus checks in 2020. Was my husband, as an international student on an F1 visa, eligible to receive the stimulus checks ($600 and $1200), or should we return them?

I am confirming that the IRS received my 2019 taxes. The reason I am wondering is because I did not receive the last stimulus check which was based on my 2019 taxes. I received the first stimulus check for $2,400 (for me and my husband) which was based on 2018 taxes. Is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect you?

I filed my 2019 federal and state (Idaho) taxes in December 2020 using an accounting firm, and now I'm filling out TurboTax Premier for 2020 taxes. Both federal and state tax forms have been rejected twice with the message: 'ND-031-04 - The primary taxpayer's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year does not match IRS records.' I've listed the AGI as shown on line 8b of the 1040-SR form and listed the PIN numbers. Additionally, I have two 1099-R forms: one for a TSP distribution rolled over into an IRA, and another for monthly annuity payments received in 2020. The taxable amount from the annuity is listed as $0 on Form 1040-SR. Is this correct? Also, for Idaho taxes, I'm asked to enter the portion of my pension income eligible for the retirement benefit deduction for civil service. How do I determine this?
