If I found out that my ex-spouse has been in arrears on child support since 2019 and I am the custodial parent with the children living with me full time, am I entitled to claim both kids and file an amended return for both years? Should I amend my returns for 2019 and 2020 and then sign a Form 8332 to release my claim to the non-custodial parent?

As the treasurer of St. Andrew the Apostle Orthodox Church, I need to understand how to report the pastor's income on Form 1099NEC. The pastor is paid as an independent contractor, and the parish contributes to his 401(k) plan and LTD/Life insurance policy. Additionally, parishioners have donated to reimburse his graduate school tuition. How should these contributions and reimbursements be reported on his 1099NEC?

I have a taxpayer and his spouse who are both deceased. The taxpayer passed away on 4/17/2020 and the spouse on 10/13/2020. They received the first stimulus payment but not the second. I am unsure what to enter on the recovery rebate form for the second stimulus. What should I enter?

My daughter passed away last year, and her children still live with me. I provide all their care, including medical, and receive survivors benefits for them. Am I able to claim both children? The father is not involved in their care, but I worry he might try to claim them now that my daughter is deceased.
