I am checking on the status of my 2021 tax return. I changed banks and do not have the exact amount of the return. I received a letter from the IRS with a caller ID and am unsure if I have an account with them. I filed my taxes online with H&R Block and received a letter from the IRS instructing me to call after 4 weeks. What should I do to check the status of my refund?

I was awarded SSDI last year and SS paid back funds to my long-term disability insurance through my bank account, resulting in me being taxed on it. I had already paid income tax when I received pay from my long-term disability. I was double taxed and had to pay in $2800. Is there anything I can do to correct this?

A husband and wife file a joint return, and the husband dies. The wife, who is a resident non-citizen, must file a return. Does she file a regular 1040 or a 1040NR? If the wife dies subsequently, does she file a 1041?

I filed my 2021 tax return on February 1, 2022, via paper submission with direct deposit to my checking account, but I haven't received my refund. How can I check the status of my refund and what should I do if it's lost or misplaced?
