I went to a Mississippi casino last year and won enough money that they took state taxes out. I live in Alabama. Can I file Mississippi non-resident tax and get it back? Additionally, I sold my cabin in Tennessee in 2018. Do I need to pay taxes on the money I received?

I am a recently retired military member, divorced from an ex-spouse who was awarded half of my retirement benefits for the years married. We were not married for ten years or more during my military service, so DFAS will not act on a court order dividing my retirement pay. What do I need to do to ensure I do not pay taxes on the money I am forced to pay directly to her?

I am unable to access my TaxAct account to file my 2018 taxes. When I try to sign in, it says my password is incorrect, and I cannot reset it because it claims I did not live on Ave 49. My account is also locked due to this issue. How can I resolve this problem and print my tax forms, or get a refund from TaxAct so I can switch to TurboTax?

I am a US citizen living in New Zealand and have inherited a share of an irrevocable trust worth around $350,000, with a cost basis of $100,000 and a capital gain of $250,000. The trust is dissolving, and I have the option to receive my share in cash or in kind. What are the tax implications of each option, and how does this affect my US tax filing requirements?
