My husband gets SSD, and I started getting SSI in 2021. We made $10,104.00 from my husband's SSD. I cannot afford a $52 phone call. Free File USA had me jump through hoops until I needed a tax pro. It got e-filed and accepted on May 10, 2022. We have a signed agreement with Santa Barbara tax product group, but the IRS has not released the refund yet. They don't have our routing numbers or our account numbers to deposit the remainder of the refund on the Green Dot Visa prepaid card.

How do I get certification so that the IRS can proceed with my tax form? I live and work as a high school teacher in Mexico, but my income is from a retirement plan received from Massachusetts. I use my Massachusetts address when submitting my tax forms. The IRS is asking me to verify my identity on a program called ID Verify, which requires various forms of identification, including a driver's license. I have a Massachusetts driver's license that has expired and a Michigan driver's license with my Mexican address, both of which are unacceptable to ID Verify.
