I have a stimulus question. The IRS has the incorrect checking account number for my 2019 tax year. What should I do and how long will it take to receive the stimulus payment if it's mailed instead?

I am 42 years old and receive social security benefits on a Direct Express card. I saw on the IRS website that my stimulus payment might be sent to a bank account number I never had. What should I do?

When I check on my stimulus check, it keeps telling me to use a valid birthdate. Have you talked to a tax professional about this?

My husband and daughter receive security. In 2018, we filed taxes with her as a dependent and received a stimulus payment in April with an extra $500 for our daughter. Today, there was another stimulus payment in our daughter's account. We don’t know why she would receive more money. Would you know why?

I need a transcript for 2020. I am 64 years old, located at 2784 Lexington Ct., Grand Junction, CO 81503, and receive SSI of $2423.00 monthly. I have no dependents and am unsure about my typical filing status. Is there anything else the Accountant should know before I connect?

My partner and I have started a progressive radio show and are considering applying for 501(c)(3) status. We hope to give listeners a tax benefit to invest in us, provide a deny-ability buffer for potential sponsors, and maintain this status until we become profitable, at which point we would change our status. Is this a good idea or a mistake?

I need help determining if I can claim my son on my taxes. My son and I both supported him, and we all lived together in the same house for most of the year. My husband and I are separated, and he also wants to claim our son. How do we figure this out, and who can claim him to avoid trouble with the IRS?

I received ~$17000 scholarship/fellowship in 2019 which did not have tax withholding. I didn't know that I was supposed to pay estimated tax on this income. When doing my tax return for 2019, I found that I owed tax and read online that there may be interest and penalty. Is there anything I can do to reduce the interest and penalty to a minimum?
