I have a ring from my late grandmother that is 10k stamped and I suspect it may have a genuine sapphire set in it. I would like to know how and where to assess for authentication and possibly sell it. The ring looks handmade with fine details around the stone, has a 4-corner setting, and the stone is quite large. The ring is in very good condition, with all claws intact and solid, and it is probably over 50 years old, maybe more.
