I have a carpenter ornament bought in Sorrento about 30 years ago, marked with an 'N' and a crown above. I also have an authenticity label with it. Do you think it's real?

I bought a painting at a storage unit sale. The unit belonged to a wealthy real estate developer who was attempting a development on the Nevada / California border. Upon the discovery of an endangered species, the development fell through and a year later the developer died. The painting is of sailing ships anchored in a harbor. The painting is signed John Clymer. It is approximately 24" X 30" and seems to be in pristine condition. Do you have any guess as to its value?
