I have an Arthur Stuart sterling silver flatware set for 10 that I inherited. It includes 10 dinner forks, 9 salad forks, 10 dinner knives, 10 dessert spoons, 10 iced-tea spoons, and a gravy ladle. I recently lost one of the salad forks. I'm interested to know the value of the full set as well as where I might find a replacement for the salad fork. I do not know the pattern name, but it's pretty scrolly!

I came across two Japanese katanas at a pawn shop. They are carbon steel, have bamboo handles and sheaths, and are decorated with the Japanese symbol for 'strength' and untranslatable Japanese characters on the sheath. The long blade has nicks from fighting, and both blades have some rust. The design suggests they are made from Tamahagane steel. The pawn shop claimed they were at least a hundred years old, but I'm skeptical. The tang is blackish, which might indicate age. The swords have excellent balance. I'm curious about their age, value, and how to care for them. Can you help?
