I have a painting of a ship named Invercargill, created by artist J Spurling. It measures 20cm x 15cm and is painted on masonite. The painting was a retirement present for my father in 1980, purchased approximately in Sydney from Priority Facsimiles. The painting has nicotine stains. We have a large Dean Cornwall painting “Banana Plantation”. I’m curious about its value. It is framed in a wicker and bamboo frame, roughly about 5’ x 4’, and is the same image used in the 1945 Ads.
