I would like an appraisal on this oil painting by H. East titled "On the Lledr N. Wales." The painting appears to be in the original frame, which is gorgeous, and is in excellent shape. I inherited it from my uncle's estate. How old is the painting, and is the frame original to the painting?

I have an antique mantel clock with the following markings on the back: "EIGH", "PA", "WELCH", and "FORE". The clock is about 10 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide. It is part of an opera series and has a name like Pauline or Patty. The pendulum only works for a few minutes after winding. What is the history and value of this clock, and should I get it repaired if I want to sell it?
