I have a chair that was my grandfather's and I would like to know if it is worth anything. The chair appears to be solid wood carved, with perfect carving but some discoloration at the base of the feet. I think it might be French or German. The chair is at least 75 years old, possibly closer to 100, and has been in the family for a long time.

I purchased a mahogany slant front desk said to be from Massachusetts, reportedly owned by a Naval captain. I have a question about the drawer pulls, which feature a crown on an anchor.
