I have an old pocket watch that I'm trying to get information on. The few people I spoke to state that it seems to be French around 1780-1800. The marking on the front face states 'Catoia A Carrouges'. I can provide pictures of the works and markings. What can you tell me about this watch and its value?

I got this plate in a lot of dishes and I cannot begin to know where to look for it. It measures about 10 inches in diameter, has an open work edge which is about 2" wide, and features two women with wings in the foreground and two cherubic images in the background. The women are sitting on a branch. Can you tell me about this plate, such as its maker, type or pattern, and its value?
