I am trying to remove the old water filter from the bottom of my Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator (model GD5PHAXMS10). The black piece does not turn, and I am not sure how to proceed without damaging the water line or other components. What steps should I take to safely remove and replace the water filter?

My De Dietrich combi microwave/oven lights keep flashing, and it won't start. The clock is not flashing, but as I scroll through, MW flashes, time flashes, and temp flashes.
