We have a brand new Model SHX7PT55UC dishwasher. The first time we ran a load, everything was fine. The second time, it displayed the "watertap" indicator and faucet symbol on the floor display. We reset the washer, and it sounded like water was draining from the appliance. But when we try to start a new wash, it reverts to the watertap message within about 2 minutes. It's hard to believe there is an actual problem with the water supply, because it worked fine the first time. We have the installer coming back this afternoon to check it. Do you have any guidance for him?

We have a Bosch Classic Electronic dishwasher approximately 4-5 years old. The check water light illuminated on the front panel. After replacing the inlet solenoid, water is now escaping from a hole at the top right of the clear plastic compartment where the inlet hose attaches. Water flows through this to the next plastic compartment (blue) which includes the float mechanism. The float is not rising due to insufficient water entering the chamber, causing the water to overflow out of the hole. What actions can be taken to resolve this issue?

My dishwasher won't drain all the way. I replaced the drain pump and checked for any obstructions in the drain line. I completely removed the drain to make sure it had no blockage, which it doesn't. What else could be causing this problem? I have a KitchenAid dishwasher model # XXXXX.
