I bought an electric griddle that is rated for 3000 watts at 110-120 volts. I initially tried using it on a 30 amp breaker with a 30 amp plug and outlet, similar to a dryer, but it kept popping the breaker. The griddle only pulls 25 amps, but the breaker requires a 32 amp breaker or a leakage switch. What could be causing the breaker to pop, and what should I do to resolve this issue?
