I have a 20-year-old GE side-by-side refrigerator and need a hinge for the fridge top side. The part number is XXXXX XXXXX, but it seems to be discontinued and unavailable. Do I need the exact part, or can I use a hinge from another model? What are my options if I can't find one?

My GE GSS23QG side-by-side refrigerator's freezer is colder than the temperature setting, and the evaporator is freezing. The fan above the evaporator is spinning but there isn't much air movement. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

I own a Frigidaire Dishwasher model FDB2410HIS. The latch is broken, specifically the part that extends out of the door and fits into the opposing front where the dishwasher fits into the counter. What is the part number for the door striker hook and the part number for the mate inside the counter-front?

I have a Maytag Model MTB2156GE refrigerator with a noisy fan in the freezer. The fan has a slight wobble when mounted. Do I need to replace the fan motor and blade, or is there anything else I can do?

Following Hurricane Issac, all of the appliances in my home will no longer turn on: Washer, Dryer, Microwave, Stove, Dishwasher, Disposal, and Satellite Dish Receiver. I found 2/3rds of breakers 'blown', turned them back on, and tested all outlets which seem to work fine, but none of the appliances turn on. I replaced the microwave's fuse but it still won't turn on. Can not find a fuse in the stove. Does this mean the computer chips / controller boards in all these appliances are likely blown? And since replacing all these parts are so expensive, should I even bother trying to get them repaired or just buy new appliances?
