I have a Centennial Maytag Dryer that stopped working. The heating element works when plugged in, but the tumbler is not running, and the dryer gets very hot. I suspect it might be the thermostat or the thermal fuse. What could be the issue, and how can I fix it?

I have a Kenmore top load washing machine, about 12 years old, Model 110 20922990 Type 111. When starting the cycle, water fills the machine and leaks directly onto the floor. I suspect the leak might be coming from under the tub. What could be causing this leak and what should I do?

I have a Miele dishwasher, G5500. The door springs are too strong and I have a hard time keeping the door open. The manual says there is a screw to adjust the door tension at the top left of the dishwasher, but mine doesn't have anything there when I pull back the grey sealing strip. Is the door spring adjustment screw somewhere else on my dishwasher?

I have a Maytag MAH6500AWW front-loading washing machine. The door doesn't unlock properly, even when there is no water. It makes clicking noises, and sounds like a relay or solenoid in the back of the machine is clicking, but the door doesn't open. I have found the emergency release cord and when I pull it, it opens. What usually goes wrong on these? Should I buy a new latch assembly or is there a solenoid somewhere that could be broken, or a cable that could be broken?
