I have a double oven (model MER6741BAW17) that is 11 years old. The lock light is on, and I can't use the oven or the keypad unless I unplug and plug it back in. A dish towel got stuck on the self-cleaning latch, and now the oven is stuck on 'lov'. What should I do to fix this issue?

My Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher, model WDT710PAYM4, purchased in 2013, is making a rough, repetitive knocking sound several times during the washing cycle. The sound lasts for about 10-20 seconds each time and occurs at least 3 times during a cycle. The dishwasher still cleans dishes and operates normally otherwise. Should I call a professional or is this a simple fix?

My Maytag washer 3000 series is showing an F21 error code. Can I do something to 'unfreeze' my washer? The washer is about 7 years old and is a full-size stackable model. I prefer not to do the work myself unless it's very simple, but I can ask my nephew, a plumber, to help if there are specific directions. If it's complicated, I will call for a service call.
