I installed a commercial six-burner imperial oven, but it didn't seem to come on, and the ticker only ticked once. When trying to light the pilot, it flamed out and burnt the hair on someone's arms. How did the gas build up if the pilot was out, and why did the flame out from the bottom if the pilots were on?
