My 2004 GE Triton XL dishwasher is experiencing the following issues: 1. It rinses twice instead of once on rinse and hold. 2. The finish light stays on after a normal wash cycle until it goes through a rinse and hold cycle. 3. Opening the door during a cycle no longer stops it from running. The dishwasher washes fine except for these issues. What part(s) need to be replaced, what is the approximate cost, and is it worth repairing?

The check filter light is on and the dryer will not heat. The filter and main tube are clean. The dryer was in use for a previous load and went into cooling mode. The unit would not power off and had to be unplugged. The issue happened 2 days ago, and the dryer worked fine after vacuuming it out but went into cooling mode again. The cooling light is on the whole time during the drying cycle, which was not the case in the past. Why does it show 'cooling' in the processing window of the panel, and could this be related to a power surge?
