I have a GE MWF refrigerator and freezer. I replaced the water filter, and now it sounds like a ratchet going off. The noise stays the same regardless of temperature settings. The refrigerator is from 2006, and the issue started just after installing the new water filter on Monday. I have tried removing and re-installing the filter. The water flow is now just a trickle. What could be causing this noise and reduced water flow, and what can I do to fix it?

We have a small leak in the front left corner of our dishwasher. The dishwasher is about 15 years old, and the insulation under the door is wet on the left side. What could be causing the leak, and what steps should be taken to address it?

My LFC21776 refrigerator is not cooling, the fan works, and the compressor is humming (no clicks). The noise does not change with temperature settings. The fridge is just under 10 years old and stopped working completely yesterday. I have cleaned the unit but am unsure about the test button on the computer board. What should I do next?

We have a Maytag dryer, Bravos XL steam model MOD MEDB87DWW2, purchased in 2017. It takes a very long time to dry clothes, and often they still feel damp at the end of the cycle even with the steam function off. The dryer vent was cleaned last fall, which helped a little. What could be causing this issue, and what can be done to resolve it?

My Jenn-Air oven, model S156, is 30 years old and has an issue where the actual temperature may be off by +/- 50 degrees from the set temperature. I have tried using an external thermometer and adjusting the switch to maintain the correct temperature. I also tried finding a new thermostat, but it has been discontinued. What could be causing this issue, and how can I diagnose and potentially fix it?
