I have a GE top-loading washing machine, about six months old (Model# GTW725BSNOWS, Serial# *). The machine will not spin dry my bathroom rugs, even when I try washing them one at a time or in pairs. I've tried using the heavy load setting, but it still doesn't work. What could be the issue and what should I do?

There seems to be no power to my control panel on my GE Profile Harmony DPGT750EC1PL appliance. The light comes on when the door is opened, but the control panel doesn't respond as if it's unplugged.
