I have a Hobart LX30 dishwasher that won't turn on and the display remains dark. The circuit breaker is on, power input is verified, and a dead mouse was found in the electronics compartment. The exhaust fan on my GE Advantium 120 does not change speeds from high to low. The display shows that the fan speed is LOW but the sound does not change and the volume of air leaving the exhaust vent does not change. The fan is very noisy. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

I have a Porter Charles dual range oven that is about 5 years old. The oven door does not close tightly at the top, which is affecting the oven temperature and baking performance. The door seems to need to come in about 1/2 inch or so to close snugly. We believe the problem might be with the hinges. What steps can I take to fix this issue myself?

On the dishwasher door latch, which of the two wires (brown and black) goes on the brass terminal? Model # MDB7749AWM2. I plan to do the work myself and only need to attach two wires. When I removed the latch, I forgot which wire was on the brass terminal and which was on the silver terminal. Does it matter?
