I have a Maytag dishwasher Model MD88600AWW (about 20 years old). It fills but the wash cycle won't start, making a clicking sound and then shutting off. It drains if I press start and then cancel. What could be the issue and should I attempt to fix it myself or consider buying a new one?

My De Dietrich combi microwave/oven lights keep flashing, and it won't start. The clock is not flashing, but as I scroll through, MW flashes, time flashes, and temp flashes. I've tried holding stop for 10 seconds, which brought up a lock key icon, and I've removed that icon. What part do I need to replace, and where can I get it in New Zealand or elsewhere?

My Frigidaire washing machine FFTW4120SW agitates and drains water but won't spin. The spin motor engages, but the basket jumps a few degrees and then locks down, straining against the locked basket. The basket turns when powered off. What could be the issue and what should I check or replace?
