I have a Maytag Neptune stacked washer/dryer that I purchased 4 1/2 years ago. The washing machine would not go on, so I called a repairman. He replaced a circuit board in the dryer (it was for the washer), and the machine now runs but will not advance cycles. If I do not manually advance to the next cycle, the machine will eventually turn off. The repairman says that the board he put in is either the wrong board or it is defective. Does this circuit board control the washing machine cycle advance or is it something else?

My Whirlpool fridge, which is 1 year and 5 months old, has started leaking brown gooey fluid from the back interior. The fluid leaks from behind a plastic panel that cannot be removed and then goes underneath the plastic storage containers for vegetables. What is this fluid and how can I stop it from leaking?

I have a Whirlpool Compact Washer Model: LCE4332PQ0. The washer stops operating before the drain cycle with all panel lights blinking except the temp light. Sometimes pressing the temp button prompts the drain cycle, other times pressing the on/off switch makes the washer continue with the agitation cycle. A repair person diagnosed the motor as overheating, but could the problem also be with the washer control panel? My mother's GE washer displayed similar symptoms, and the repair tech suggested the control panel was bad. What would you replace: the washer or the control panel?

I have a Gemini gas double oven range. The electronic ignition on the cooktop is malfunctioning. When I turn on one burner, all four burners activate and none of them can be turned off. I have unplugged the range, but when I plug it back in, all four burners still try to light and continue to click on and off. What could be the issue and what should I do?
