I have a noisy fridge, specifically a much higher humming sound. The unit is 3 years old and bought at Home Depot. The noise doesn't change with temperature settings and stays on Temp 3. The fridge is a Goldseries side by side stainless model. The noise is louder when the freezer drawer is pulled out, but there is no excess frost buildup, and the freezer is cooling properly. What could be causing the noise and what should I do?

I'm a service tech with a KitchenAid refrigerator model KBRC36FMSO1, approximately ten years old. The issue is that the beep on top doesn't stop and the indicator lights are flashing. Additionally, I'm inquiring if the condenser motor on top of the unit should be running every time the compressor is on.
