I have a Samsung refrigerator model RF18HFENBSR that has been causing issues, including freezing and water leakage into the crisper trays. I've had a repair guy change the top fan and defrost the drain, but the problems persist. As a 73-year-old retired disabled Vietnam veteran on a fixed income, I'm wondering if I could trade my refrigerator for an upgrade and pay the difference?

I have a washer, dryer, and an automatic self-cleaning litter box that all need to drain into the same hole. The current setup is causing water to spill on the floor. What kind of adapter do I need to connect all three hoses to the drain without causing overflow?

I just purchased a second-hand GE electric glass top cooktop with a downdraft vent system. The downdraft system does not fit in my cabinet. Can I remove it and will the cooktop still work without it? I have an overhead vent system now, so I really don’t need it. I didn’t realize it was downdraft when I purchased it. The model is PP989SN1SS.
