I have a Whirlpool compact dryer (model Ldr3822pq1) with low heat. I removed the control board, checked all thermostats, elements, and the timer, which all seem to be functioning correctly. The dryer heats slightly, but the element cover only gets a little warm. What could be causing the low heat issue, and what additional tests or checks should I perform?

The low heat issue in your Whirlpool dryer is likely due to a problem with the heating element or it...

We have a Whirlpool Cabrio Resource saver Dryer Model WED6700xw0. The AF error appears, the dryer is very hot on the outside, and the metal grate inside the dryer feels almost finger blistering hot. I have cleaned the filter and verified that there is airflow going to the outside. We removed the hose from the dryer to the wall and confirmed it is clear. What could be causing this issue and what steps should we take to resolve it?

My freezer defrost cycle is running in long and ever increasing cycles, causing the temperature in my freezer and refrigerator to climb to 40-50°F before dropping back down to freezing for a 6-8 hour period and then starting over. What could be causing this issue and what steps can I take to diagnose and potentially fix it?
