I have a Whirlpool front load washer WFW3090JW that won't come out of demo mode even though the screen says it is. I've tried unplugging it, flipping the breaker, and pressing the 'program' and 'options' buttons simultaneously, but it still stays in demo mode. The door also won't unlock. What should I do?

I have a GE GFW850SPNORS washing machine. The wash did not spin yesterday, and after restarting it, the door locked and cannot be unlocked, leaving wet clothes inside. What have you tried so far with your GFW850SPNORS? Unplugged and re-plugged. Is there anything else the Electronics Expert should know before I connect you?

I accidentally caused my oven's broiler rod to become sooty by toasting pecans and coconut chips that caught on fire. My oven is gas and 20 years old. How can I clean the sooty rod, and can I use the self-clean feature on my oven to clean the soot?

I have a Magic Chef cellar in my condo in Montreal. Ice has formed around the compressor inside the cellar, and when it melts, it drips onto the kitchen floor. I left the door open to let the ice melt completely. Is the cellar broken, and what should I do? If the ice melts completely, can the cellar be used as before?

We have water going to the washer, but the washer code states no water. The washer is top-loading and just started showing this issue. We have disconnected the water lines to ensure there is water pressure. What could be the problem and what should we check or replace?

I just bought a new Whirlpool refrigerator two weeks ago, and the ice maker only drops ice about once daily. The freezer is set on the coldest setting and shows 20 degrees, while the refrigerator section shows 38 degrees. I have tried looking for an arm that stops the ice maker from overflowing but couldn't find one. What could be the issue, and what should I do?
