I have an LG top-loading washer that has been having issues with water not filling properly since the second week of use. The washer only fills about 4 or 5 inches before stopping and starting the wash cycle. Turning it off and on a few times allows it to fill partially but not fully. I have tried resetting the washer and ensuring the water supply is on and has good pressure. What could be causing this issue and what steps can I take to resolve it?

Do I need a repair person to check the fill tube and the hair dryer for melting ice (if there is any) or disconnecting the water line to blow through the water line? I am sure I will need a professional if the electronic water valve or ice maker needs to be replaced.
