My Whirlpool Duet front load washer's door is locked, and the display does not show anything. The washer is from 2002, model #GHW9200LW. I have unplugged it for 5 minutes to reset, but it didn't unlock. The only light on is the door lock light, and when plugged back in, a motor runs, but no lights at the control panel. I removed the top panel and disconnected the hose from the pressure switch, but the pump still runs. What should I do next?

I have a Bosch dishwasher, model SHE66C05UC/47, which is about 10 years old. Initially, it would start running as soon as I switched the on/off switch. I have a 1974 Maytag top loader A207. When transitioning from rinse to spin, the agitator moves slightly but there is a rapid 2/s second 'witching sound' from the lower left, like a relay.
