We don’t use our dishwasher, just hand wash. A year ago, we had an issue where the sink was draining into the dishwasher after the garbage disposal fell out of place, but we fixed it. Now, the sink won’t drain at all, besides slowly overnight, and is backing into the dishwasher again, but the disposal seems fine. Would running the dishwasher help or flood because the first time the sink still drained but this time it’s not draining at all. The garbage disposal doesn’t sound normal when we run it, but we can’t find anything in it to make it clogged. We used our hands to search for anything that would be blocking the flow of water and couldn’t find anything. It happened suddenly, worked fine the day before.
