I replaced the idler and bearing on the motor of my Maytag gas dryer (model #DG312) but now there's not enough tension on the belt to spin the drum. The belt is correctly hooked onto the motor with the idler, and the spring is hooked onto the arm of the idler, but there's still no tension. The motor is spinning, but the drum won't rotate on its own. Could the belt have stretched, or is there another issue?
