I have a Frigidaire front loader washing machine that drains for a few seconds then stops, and it won't fill with water. The water valves have good pressure, and when set to drain/spin, it will start to drain for a second, stop, then turn the drum slowly for about a minute before stopping. The pump sounds louder than normal, and there is water in the tub. The door locks, and the control panel lights remain lit, but the drum stops. What could be causing this issue, and what steps should I take to diagnose and fix it?

We have a 4-year-old Whirlpool ARC 5555 fridge. The freezer on the bottom cools fine, but the top fridge section is at 50°F. The compressor runs and the back coils get hot. Are there separate cooling coils embedded in the fridge section, or does it all cool from the visible coils in the freezer box? If there are separate coils, why would the fridge section not cool while the freezer works fine? What could be the typical cause of this issue?
