My fridge unit display is reading EC and the freezer unit is flashing 'service.' We have cleaned the coils. The freezer temperature flashes 24 then 0, and the outside of the freezer is very hot on the door panel. The condenser fan was not running but started with a little push. What could be the issue and what should I do?

I have a Jenn-Air range model #S136. I can't get the clean cycle to work. After I enter the shutoff time, the display does not go to clean. The clean light does not light when the instructions are followed, even though they have worked in the past. The bake and broil cycles operate properly.
