My GE Harmony washer screen went blank and won't light up. I replaced the display with a new one, but it still doesn't work. When powered up, I hear clicking noises from the main control board. The washer is roughly 8 to 10 years old, and I plan to do the work myself. What could be the issue?

I have a Jenn-Air oven with a control panel that does not light up, even though the power to the control panel and all wires are hot. There is a transformer moving voltage from 120v to 25v, but there is no power to it with the lead wire coming out of the control panel. The oven is from 9/24/03, Model No. jjw8530ddb. I plan to do the work myself, but if I can't get the part or need a repairman, I need to call someone that serves Decatur, Alabama.
