My Kenmore wall oven (model 790.48879901, 2012) takes a long time to heat up, and the bake element does not glow but puts out some heat. The broil element works well. The lower oven functions properly. What could be the issue, and what steps should I take to diagnose and potentially fix it?

Good morning! I have a Samsung Dryer DVG45R6100C/A3 that is 23 months old. It is basically functioning properly, display board lights up, dryer turns on and will dry the clothes. The only problem is, you cannot power down with the power button, you must plug and unplug the dryer to put in operation. Also, the dryer is not really being controlled by the control panel. It’s as if it’s just bypassing the panel. Any thoughts? Could it be a sensor malfunction? Although, timed drying should stop at its programmed time. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!
