My LG dryer model DLEX5680V will not start with the power button on while pressing the start button. The door switch seems to work, and the light goes on and off when operated by hand. The drum has some resistance when turned by hand, and I have already tripped the breaker. What could be the issue, and how do I open up the dryer to test the motor, thermal fuse, and belt switch?

I have a relatively new Maytag front load washer that doesn't start. The on/off button doesn't work, but turning the control dial turns on the power. However, pressing start does nothing, no interlock check, nothing. I replaced the door interlock, which initially seemed to help but then the washer stopped halfway through a cycle, leaving water in the unit, and now won't start at all. What could be the issue, and should I replace the control unit?

My refrigerator has stopped cooling but the freezer is still working. The motor started to sound loud two days ago, and after performing a Forced Defrost, the refrigerator stopped cooling.
