My Maytag Maxima (4 years old) has no power after a power outage. I've tried unplugging it for a couple of minutes and then plugging it back in, as well as using the self-check feature, but it still has no power. What could be the issue and what should I do?

My Amana dishwasher, model ADB1100AWS4, does not drain. The air gap and drain hose are clean, all filtration parts have been cleaned, and there was nothing abnormal blocking the filters. The drain hose attaches directly to the air gap. What should I do next to diagnose and potentially fix the issue?

Do you charge for your advice on whether to replace or repair an appliance? My LG LMX28988SB/01 refrigerator leaks water under the bottom freezer drawer at times, making it so the door does not open, and it was warm this morning but is now cooling down. I don’t know if this is a compressor problem and if I need to replace the refrigerator, which is approximately 7 to 8 years old. If it can’t be fixed, do I still pay the fee?

The dishwasher hinge is no longer working, causing the door to fly open whenever it is opened or ajar. Additionally, a black film sometimes builds up on the plastic interior. The dishwasher is a Whirlpool Gold Series, and the owner is unsure about a diagnostic test cycle but would like to try repairing it themselves if possible.
