My new 2-month-old dryer won't turn on. The door switch seems to be working, and I've checked the circuit breaker and cleaned out all vents. What could be the issue and how can I test it?

I bought a used JennAir electric range (model JES9800AAB) and need to know about the fan attachment that goes under the stove and plugs in with a 4-prong clip. It came separate from the stove and I need to install it. Does it just fit into the bottom of the stove with the wall vent going to the wall and the other end just blowing out under the stove?

Is it possible for someone to create vibrations in my house that shake my bed and disrupt my sleep, and if so, how would this be possible? What should I look for in my house that could cause this vibration?

I have a Frigidaire FRSS2623 refrigerator. I am a Sabbath observer and need to prevent the lights from turning on when the door is opened. I tried using a magnet on the reed switch, but the lights still go on briefly when the door is closed. Where should I place the magnet to effectively disable the lights for the Sabbath?

My apartment manager says my stove hood doesn't need to be connected to the outside. When I open the cupboard above the hood, it looks like a part was removed. The fan works but just recycles hot air and steam back into my apartment. Is this true or not?
